Diploma in dialysis technician is a two year diploma program designed to build well-informed and duly trained dialysis technicians for working efficiently in hospitals, medical clinics, dialysis centers, paramedical teaching and training institutions.
What is the scope of a Dialysis Technician?

The Dialysis technician can go off to working in private, government and corporate hospitals, nursing homes, nephrologist's clinics, and diagnostic centers after this course. There is a dearth of skilled and qualified Dialysis Technicians in the country.
What is a Dialysis Technician called?

Hemodialysis technicians, also known as dialysis technicians, work together with a doctor or nurse to provide patient care to people with permanent kidney failure (end-stage renal disease).
What are the two types of Dialysis?

There are two kinds of dialysis. In hemodialysis, blood is pumped out of your body to an artificial kidney machine, and returned to your body by tubes that connect you to the machine. In peritoneal dialysis, the inside lining of your own belly acts as a natural filter.
How long does Dialysis take per day?

Hemodialysis is usually done three times a week, for 3 to 4 hours a day, depending on how well the kidneys work, and how much fluid weight they have gained between treatments.
