Basic Certification Course in Six Sigma Green Belt by E&ICT Academy, IIT Guwahati is a joint venture between IIT Guwahati and Henry Harvin ® . The Lean Six Sigma skill is considered to help in the enhancement of business processes, performance, and quality. The Lean Six Sigma green belt course will equip the candidate with tools and methodology of Lean and Six Sigma. This Professional course covers a more advanced level of content (at the "green belt" level) of Six Sigma and Lean. The Green Belt Certification designation also reflects the knowledge by the individual to serve as a trained team member within his or her function-specific area of the organization. This focus allows the Green Belt to work on small, carefully defined Six Sigma projects, requiring less than a Black Belt’s full-time commitment to Six Sigma throughout the organization. Be well versed in all the aspects of Lean Six Sigma such as Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) as stated by the IASSC Lean Six Sigma green belt body of knowledge.
