Why do we need to study child rights?

The healthy development of children is crucial to the future well-being of any society. Because they are still developing, children are especially vulnerable – more so than adults – to poor living conditions such as poverty, inadequate health care, nutrition, safe water, housing and environmental pollution.

How can we protect our child rights?

The Government should make sure that children are not abducted or sold. Children should be protected from any activities that could harm their development. Children who break the law should not be treated cruelly. They should not be put in prison with adults and should be able to keep in contact with their families.
