For a Travel Lover to find a job that allows him to travel is not very easy. Many of these travel jobs require time, patience, passion, specific skills,  specialized training, and aptitude.

We can broadly categorize travel jobs into 3 categories:-

1. Expat Travelling Jobs:-

Expat stands for “expatriate”. This literally means that you are a citizen of one country, but, you choose to live/work in a foreign country. 3. Backpacker Jobs:-

Maybe,  it is a breathtaking local hiking trip, or showing travelers the most exotic museums and art galleries or the coolest bars and restaurants. This way you can earn your money as well as share your love of travelling.  When u become a travel agent you will be invited on family trips where you’ll travel for free as well as receive heavy discounts for your own holidays.

3. Blogger:-

If you are a travel lover who has a flair for words, then you can think of becoming a travel blogger. Once you start writing, over a period of time, you will learn how to edit your content and you will slowly and gradually connect with your readers.        You could, for instance, become a] Travel blogger b] Food blogger c] Fashion blogger d] Lifestyle and Wedding blogger e] Copywriting.

If you are good at capturing images, you have trained and perfected your craft, then this business which requires an initial small investment is too good to pass. If you happen to build up your social media audience, then you can get hired for paid  “Influencer” projects too.

World Wide Opportunities On Organic Farms offers travellers a chance to work on their farms. They get paid a pittance, but  food and lodging is taken care of and they get a chance to explore a place in a very rustic style.

8. Work on a Cruise Ship:-

Travelling the world while working on a grand cruise ship is an awesome way to discover some pretty exotic places. Food, accommodation, transportation, and insurance are covered too- so it’s a great way to save money. It’s a lot of hard work, there are long working hours and you may or may not get leaves. There are different types of positions and careers on a cruise ship , like that of a tour manager, engineer, deckhand, housekeeper, cook or then you could be in charge of entertainment and many more jobs.

9. Work as an Au Pair:-

Are you a travel lover who loves looking after children? Then this is the job for you? And if you speak a foreign language, then it is an added bonus.

10. Fitness Trainer:-

11. Bartending:-

This travel Job requires a special talent like, maybe, acrobatics, painting,

fortune telling, music, breakdance, art, craft, just about anything. As a travel lover you can turn your passion into your job that allows you to travel.

A. Remote Work and Telecommuting:-  

Working online or telecommuting and permitting staff to work from home or anywhere with a wi-fi-connection is fast becoming an option for many businesses and industries.

B. Online Translation Jobs:-                                      

Companies need translations done for blogs, websites, product manuals, books, and a travel lover who is proficient in a second language, definitely has a advantage. You could just start by translating food and beverages menus or conduct bilingual tours for tourists.

D. Stock Day Trading:-                       


Of course, u need to have some knowledge and experience of trading in stocks before you start making a decent amount of money. This travel job as a street vendor  may need a license or special permission from the local authorities. H. Give your place on Rent:-                                                                                                      

You can travel the world and give your place out on rent. For eg: List your apartment on sites like Airbnb. I. Peace Corps/ N.G.O. work: 

There are times when you want to do something for the society.  Try volunteering with the Peace corps or a Non-Governmental Organization. The money is not much and the working hours could be long and tedious, but, it will make your life rich with experiences, and you will have the confidence to face any challenges that will come your way in future.

J. Videography/ Vlogging/YouTube:  

An in-depth knowledge of video, editing, and networking is recommended. Travelling and making videos is a dream job many would like to pursue. You could make marketing films or become a versatile YouTuber or make documentary movies for travel and tourism boards.

K. Travelling Nurse:-                                                                                             

If you are a travel lover who likes to take care of the old and the infirm, then, this is the job for you. After obtaining a degree as a registered nurse, you can also apply for temporary travel nursing jobs which can be from a few weeks to few months to few years. These jobs cover food, accommodation, sometimes, medical coverage, rental cars and more. There are agencies that will help you locate a job overseas.

L. Sports Instructor: –

A travel lover who is an expert at cricket, hockey or any particular sport has numerous opportunities to go abroad and teach his craft.

M. Poker:-

This travel Job looks easy , but, it is not exactly a cakewalk.  You have to be a wizard with numbers, be extremely patient and calm, and you should be able to sit for hours at a stretch at a table. For a person who loves to travel, this could be a dream job , specially, because poker lovers normally travel in groups.

Remuneration will vary from position to  position and place to place       

P. Professional Consultant:-

 A Consultant is required to work on short-term projects helping companies and industries to grow by providing the best solutions through benchmarking of the latest industry practices.

Remuneration Earned:- depends on experience, knowledge and skill.
