Do you know about the Blockchain?

A distributed database or ledger that is shared by all of the nodes in a computer network is known as a blockchain. A blockchain functions as a database that electronically stores data in digital form. In cryptocurrency systems like Bitcoin, where a secure and decentralized record of transactions is maintained, blockchains are well known for their vital role in this regard. The benefit of a blockchain is that it creates trust without the need for a third party you can rely on by ensuring the accuracy and security of a record of data.

Top 20 Blockchain books

You can find many Blockchain books to learn how Blockchain works and where it is used. There are many Blockchain Course books available online also as per the recent trends of the generation.

1. MASTERING BITCOIN: PROGRAMMING THE OPEN BLOCKCHAIN (SECOND EDITION)  THE INTERNET OF MONEY, VOLUMES 1 – 3 BY ANDREAS ANTONOPOULOS

The Author of this book Andreas Antonopoulos is in charge of the Blockchain Institute’s educational materials and is also a prolific Bitcoin book writer. Andreas has a superb technical grasp of Bitcoin. He also does a wonderful job of explaining the significance of the technology in a way that is extremely simple to understand.

2. THE BITCOIN STANDARD: THE DECENTRALIZED ALTERNATIVE TO CENTRAL BANKING BY SAIFEDEAN AMMOUS

The first half of “The Bitcoin Standard,” effectively explains some of the underlying monetary theory of Bitcoin, particularly the distinction between what he refers to as “hard money” and “easy money,” or “deflationary” and “inflationary” money. It also does a great job of explaining how various forms of money, along with our financial behavior, affect the economy: Does it promote spending or does it promote saving and investing?

The book’s second half pushes it too far. Saifedean, who gave a book talk at the meetup, is a really intelligent man, but I think he is responsible for some of the absurd hashtags that circulate in the Bitcoin community, such as #BitcoinFixesEverything.

Some of Saifedean’s lines are over sentenced as -Not all problems are solved with bitcoin. Numerous issues are resolved, but your marriage will not be fixed; you must work on that issue on your own. He applied monetary theory to, like, everything in his work, which I believe kind of started that. The world is a little bit more complicated than that.

3. BLOCKCHAIN REVOLUTION: HOW THE TECHNOLOGY BEHIND BITCOIN AND OTHER CRYPTOCURRENCIES IS CHANGING THE WORLD BY DON AND ALEX TAPSCOTT

The issues with blockchain technology are covered in detail in the book “Blockchain Revolution.” Yes, it does cover all of the incredible, fantastic things it will accomplish as well as the change it will bring about. Then it continues, “Okay, but there are issues.” This technology is not magic, nor is it perfect. These are the particular problems. Therefore, I hold the book in high regard for that, which is why I favor it over the other.

4. THE TRUTH MACHINE: THE BLOCKCHAIN AND THE FUTURE OF EVERYTHING BY PAUL VIGNA AND MICHAEL J. CASEY

Even though it occasionally becomes overly exuberant, “The Truth Machine” is still pretty nice. The Age of Cryptocurrency authors Michael J. Casey and Paul Vigna has released the authoritative study on The Blockchain, the Internet’s Next Big Thing.

In The Truth Machine, Michael J. Casey and Paul Vigna demystify the blockchain and explain why technology can provide billions of excluded people access to the global economy, restore personal sovereignty over our data, assets, and identities, and change the balance of power to restore society’s faith in itself.

5. BITCOIN MONEY: A TALE OF BITVILLE DISCOVERING GOOD MONEY BY MICHAEL CARAS (AUTHOR) AND MARINA YAKUBIVSKA (ILLUSTRATOR)

A children’s book called “Bitcoin Money” explains the fundamentals of monetary theory, including inflation. My friend’s son, who enjoys reading, received it from me as a gift. He finished reading it all before bombarding his parents with inquiries. He then started talking about inflation when I was walking with him to the playground.

6. INVENTING BITCOIN: THE TECHNOLOGY BEHIND THE FIRST TRULY SCARCE AND DECENTRALIZED MONEY EXPLAINED BY YAN PRITZKER

“Inventing Bitcoin,” written by the former CTO of Reverb.com, will aid in your understanding of Bitcoin, which is necessary to comprehend blockchain. When businesses integrate blockchain technology into their systems, it’s just a data structure of grouping transactions together and reaching an agreement that everything in the box is what it claims to be before you pack it away. Then you fill the subsequent box, block once again, and repeat.

7. THE STARFISH AND THE SPIDER: THE UNSTOPPABLE POWER OF LEADERLESS ORGANIZATIONS BY ORI BRAFMAN AND ROD A. BECKSTROM

The central idea of “The Starfish and the Spider” is that whereas a spider dies if its head is taken off, a starfish sprouts a new leg in its place. That limb develops into a whole different starfish. Therefore, while starfish organizations are reshaping business, traditional top-down companies are like spiders. Bitcoin and Ethereum are exactly that.

8. THE THREE-BODY PROBLEM BY LIU CIXIN

People who work in the blockchain industry are undoubtedly familiar with “The Three-Body Problem.”  It is crucial to understand the difference between those who comprehend blockchain’s disruptive component, which combines game theory, cryptography, and open source software, and those who understand the non-disruptive but innovative for business component, which is a novel method of cryptography security.

9. THE BASICS OF BITCOINS AND BLOCKCHAINS: AN INTRODUCTION TO CRYPTOCURRENCIES AND THE TECHNOLOGY THAT POWERS THEM BY ANTONY LEWIS

The book “The Basics of Bitcoins and Blockchains” is very thorough and covers a lot of ground. Any corporate manager, in my opinion, needs to be familiar enough with new technology so that it doesn’t seem magical. This book does a good job of outlining the use cases.

10. THE INTERNET OF MONEY BY ANDREAS ANTONOPOULOS

Andreas Antonopoulos who has written the book “The Internet of Money” is a well-known speaker and writer. This is the book to read if you’d like to know why people are so enthusiastic about blockchain and bitcoin.

He has explained the theoretical end of Bitcoin what it does and how blockchain can do that.

11. THE BLOCKCHAIN DEVELOPER BY ELAD ELROM

“The Blockchain Developer”, in my opinion, is a good book on the technical aspects of blockchain. The finest application book for developers is this one from Apress, however, I am sure there are others that the community as a whole prefers.

12. SATOSHI’S VISION: THE ART OF BITCOIN BY CRAIG WRIGHT

The book “Satoshi’s Vision” is a compilation of Craig Wright’s articles from the past few years on Bitcoin, including in-depth technical discussions, ethical and legal conundrums, and more.

Craig is a generous sharer who is always willing to respond to inquiries of all kinds. Over 800 blog articles represent the vast majority of the content, but this book compiles some of the best and most moving ones. Highly suggested.

13. COMPLEX SOCIAL NETWORKS BY FERNANDO VEGA-REDONDO

Complex social network theory is addressed in “Complex Social Networks”. The book describes the important types of networks that emerge in social settings, which include this essential small world network that is now growing in Bitcoin. When developing a project or choosing how to engineer a product, knowledge of how networks form is crucial knowledge. My understanding of the various social networks involved in Bitcoin and how they function in fundamentally different ways was aided by this book.

14. THE HANDICAP PRINCIPLE: A MISSING PIECE OF DARWIN’S PUZZLE BY AMOTZ AND AVISHAG ZAHAVI

“The Handicap Principle”,  illustrates the idea of expensive messages in nature, which evolutionary scientists had previously misinterpreted. The migration of the Bitcoin Ledger from the BTC network to the BCH network, and then back to the BSV network, is one of the most alarming illustrations of how the handicap principle permeates Bitcoin. This operation required miners to spend a lot of money, but it has shown that Bitcoin is a reliable system that is distinct from a ticker symbol or codebase.

15. Blockchain: Blueprint for a New Economy by Melanie Swan

This book “Blueprint for a New Economy” demonstrates how the blockchain is prepared to overtake mainframes, PCs, the Internet, and mobile/social networking as the fifth disruptive computing paradigm by going beyond the currency (Blockchain 1.0) and smart contracts (Blockchain 2.0).

According to Melanie Swan, the Institute for Blockchain Studies’ founder, the blockchain is essentially a public ledger with the potential to serve as a global, decentralized record for the registration, inventory, and transfer of all assets, including not just money but also tangible and intangible ones like votes, software, health data, and ideas.

16. The Age of Cryptocurrency: How Bitcoin and Digital Money Are Challenging the Global Economic Order by Paul Vigna and Michael J. Casey

Paul Vigna covers equities and the economy as a market writer for The Wall Street Journal.

Cryptocurrency’s history, purpose, and essential information for navigating a cyber-economy are all demystified by Vigna and Casey. The Age of Cryptocurrency will show you how to prepare for the very different world of digital currency from the one of paper currency.

17. Blockchain Revolution: How the Technology Behind Bitcoin Is Changing Money, Business, and the World by Don Tapscott and Alex Tapscott

The CEO of the Tapscott Group and one of the most well-known living business and social theory proponents is Don Tapscott. Alex Tapscott, a blockchain expert, has written a vital book about the technology that will shape the economy of the future that is superbly researched and easy to read.

18. The Business Blockchain: Promise, Practice, and Application of the Next Internet Technology by William Mougayar and Vitalik Buterin

The Business Blockchain advances our understanding of the technology. According to William Mougayar, there will be thousands, if not millions, of blockchains in the future that will allow for frictionless value exchange as well as a new flow of value that will redefine roles, relationships, power, and governance.

Mougayar offers two further strategic claims in this work. First, because the blockchain has polymorphic properties, using it will have a variety of outcomes. Second, we shouldn’t limit our understanding of the blockchain’s potential by asking ourselves what issues it resolves.

19. Cryptoassets: The Innovative Investor’s Guide to Bitcoin and Beyond | by Chris Burniske

You may learn how to traverse this strange new blockchain world and how to invest in these developing assets by reading this straightforward, succinct, and readable guide from two industry insiders. The book has listed the practical methods and techniques for researching and evaluating cryptocurrencies, and many more.

20. Digital Gold: Bitcoin and the Inside Story of the Misfits and Millionaires Trying to Reinvent Money | by Nathaniel Popper

Nathaniel Popper, a reporter for the New York Times, wrote a smart and captivating history of Bitcoin called Digital Gold. Bitcoin is a revolutionary kind of digital currency and financial technology that has given rise to a social movement that spans the globe.
