About the UPTET Exam Preparation Course

UPTET Exam

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is a state-level competitive pre-selection exam for teachers. It is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh government to select primary and higher primary teachers. Candidates with good scores in B.ed are eligible to appear in the UPTET exam. 

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum requirement is to have passed senior secondary or graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and a relevant teacher training program.

The UPTET Paper 1 is for candidates who want to become Classes 1 to 5 teachers. Here is the UPTET Paper 1 exam pattern as prescribed in the official notification

    • Meaning and purpose of teaching, communication, principles of teaching, sources of teaching, teaching methods, new methods of teaching (approach), basic teaching, and basic skills of teaching.

  • Module 4: Child Development and Pedagogy : (D) Inclusive education- guidance and counseling

    • Educational inclusion means identity, type, resolution
      • Excluded class, language, religion, caste, region, colour, gender, physical skills (visually impaired, hearing impaired and speech/bone impaired), mental efficiency
    • Equipment, materials, methods, TLM, and observations required for inclusion
