My experience with Henry Harvin is excellent and the entire credit goes to our instructor ( Mr. Amol Swaroop) . He made the concepts very clear by giving examples that we can easily correlate to.

I wanted to let you know that I had a great experience with Henry Harvin, from registration to training. I was able to learn at my own pace, but having a mentor on the line, ensured that I could get real-time responses to my queries…Regarding design doc and storyboarding, I have learned ways to complete tasks effectively. Thank you, Praveen.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars
excellent and fine explanation of topics

very well explained all the topics and all the doubts are entertained at priority and regular test once a topic gets over (that is the best thing wrt language learning). I am satisfied although had the number of classes been about +15 more than in the class itself speaking practice could have taken place, so this is the only thing that I miss since it is a language class, rest is best. I m completely satisfied with the course.

  •  In 2004, exports to Japan contributed $54 billion to US GDP.
  • Numerous US firms have successfully established branches in Japan.

  • Undoubtedly, students gets an insight over the culture
  • Understanding the Japanese work ethic, business etiquette, and cultural faux pas to avoid may frequently make or break a crucial commercial deal.

Japanese opens the door to other Asian languages and civilizations.

  • Throughout its history, Japan has been shaped by the major civilizations of Asia: India, China, and Korea.
  •  Above all, Asian cultures have many characteristics that set them apart from Western methods and conventions.
  • As a result, studying Japanese can broaden your understanding of the values shared by other Asian countries with Japan, such as religious beliefs, ethics, and aesthetics.
  • The knowledge of Asian cultures also helps you to observe it from a different angle.

Japanese speakers are the Internet’s third-largest language community.

  • Japanese speakers are the third-largest language population on the Internet, after only English and Chinese speakers.
  • The Internet is used by an estimated 88 million Japanese individuals or 9.6 percent of the world’s online population.

Knowing Japanese can put you in touch with these folks in an instant. They might be future friends or acquaintances, business partners, or even the market that you or your future company plans to reach.

The Japanese are pioneers.

Given that Japan is a physically isolated island nation that is highly populated and deficient in natural resources, the Japanese economy’s strength appears even more astounding.

  • The Japanese have depended on their inventiveness and scientific know-how to achieve success not just monetarily, but also in terms of ecology and efficiency.
  • The Japanese are well-known for being high-tech pioneers in industries such as optical media, semiconductor fabrication, industrial robots, and fermentation processes.
  • Their zeal for invention has propelled the Japanese to the top of the world in patent filings, with 420,000 applications filed each year.

Cultural exports from Japan are skyrocketing.

  • Japanese culture has permeated foreign society, from anime to sushi restaurants, karaoke to manga, bonsai to origami.
  • Knowledge of the language will provide you with direct access to Japanese film, animation, and comic books, as well as insight into the special terminology used in your favorite martial art, as well as help you understand the cultural basis for kamikaze training and the origins of the samurai warrior.
  • It will also help you order sashimi like a native at your favorite Japanese restaurant!
  • Being able to communicate in Japanese will set you out from the crowd.
  • The majority of people who study a foreign language select one from Europe, such as Spanish, French, German, or Italian. Choosing a lesser-known language will stand out on your CV and set you apart from the pack.
  • Japanese visitors come from all around the world.
  • In 2004, 16.8 million Japanese visitors traveled overseas with all of their discretionary cash in their pockets.
  •  According to a poll, 94 percent of Japanese tourists to the United States reported shopping during their visit, and the Japanese were more likely than any other group to pay for products and services in cash.
  • In 2004, 3.7 million Japanese visitors visited the United States, trailing only the British. Visitors from Japan spent $12.4 billion in the United States in 2004, a 24 percent increase over the previous year, and accounted for the majority of the U.S. travel trade surplus.

The Japanese tourist dollar market is robust. You can acquire admission into that market if you know Japanese.

Naturally, understanding Japanese will make your trip to Japan both easier and more pleasurable.

It’s not as difficult as you think!

Japanese does have a very distinct writing system from English or any other European language. Foreigners, on the other hand, may get by just memorizing the 44 or so hiragana or katakana symbols, which represent sounds in the same way as the English alphabet does.

Furthermore, Japanese grammar is in many respects simpler than that of European languages. There are no genders, plural forms, or associated articles to master for Japanese nouns. In addition, the language contains just two verb tenses, present and past, and relatively few irregular verbs. In spoken Japanese, there are just five vowel sounds, and writing is phonetically consistent.

Consequently, the language is quite easy to speak.

Japanese is a good starting point for studying other Asian languages.

  • Japanese is a highly analytical language that relies mainly on function words
  • They don’t elaborate inflection systems to convey linguistic features.
  • These languages have a subject-predicate sentence structure in common.
  • Particularly Southeast Asian languages are unique from one another, they are easily distinguishable from more distant language groups, such as Indo-European and Afro-Asian languages.
  • The syntax of Japanese is quite similar to that of Korean.
  • Surprisingly both languages have an equally advanced system of honorifics for expressing respect. And the Japanese kanji writing system is based on the Chinese ideograph system. Learning Japanese puts you one step closer to learning Korean or Chinese.
