Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine

The Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Henry Harvin® especially designed for the graduates from the health professionals who are engaged or tend to engage in critical care practice (doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals) and enhance clinical skills, competencies & equip them with proficient critical care skills to deliver safe, efficient, effective and quality patient care. 

Critical care focuses on resuscitating unstable patients and allowing time for recovery or the effect of specific therapies to improve outcomes and prevent death. We use Critical care in the broad sense of care provided to all critically ill patients. 

This program involves rotations in Medical,Surgical,Neurosciences and Paediatric ICUs,Radiology,Echocardiography,Dialysis among others. This in-service training programme ensures adequate exposure to management of all types of critical illness. During the course, you will become familiar with the ICU setup, quality and safety needs, general principles of critical care, and management of specific critical illnesses.

The Program is divided into two modules: 

Module 1 with basic level knowledge of Critical Care Medicine

Module 2 with advanced level knowledge of Critical Care Medicine

Who Can Enroll?

  • Medical graduates with MBBS, registered with MCI/State Medical Council registration.
  • Nursing Graduates with a minimum qualification of B.Sc. Nursing / PC-BSC Nursing, registered with the State Nursing Council.
  • GNM Nurses with minimum experience of one year working in Critical/emergency care units
  • Graduates in Pharmacy (B,Pahrm, Pharm D etc), Physiotherapy (BPT) and other allied professions in health care, working and/or potential to work in critical care with a minimum of six months' experience
