I have been in the Business Intelligence field for over three years. I wished to move forward in my career and achieve higher goals. But I could not see myself nearing a promotion or receiving better opportunities from other companies. I realised I must be lacking essential skills to impress recruiters. I decided to update my skill set and began searching for relevant courses online. I found Henry Harvin\u2019s Power BI certification course<\/a> and after reading its objectives, immediately registered for it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In this 24-hour long project-based course, I learnt the basics of using Power BI Desktop software. We did this by analyzing data on credit card defaults with Power BI Desktop. Power BI Desktop is a free Business Intelligence application from Microsoft that lets you load, transform, and visualize data. We created interactive reports and dashboards quite easily, and quickly. We also learnt some of the basics of Power BI by importing, transforming, and visualizing the data. This course is aimed at learners who are looking to get started with the Power BI Desktop software. There are no hard prerequisites and any competent computer the user should be able to complete the project successfully. I enjoyed the way our instructor was explaining all the concepts related to this topic and made it easier to understand.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>In my opinion, this preparatory course from Henry-Harvin aptly named the \u201cPower BI certification\u201d is a must for all those students who aspire to undergo Business Intelligence degree program and also to utilise the same for succeeding in their careers as corporate leaders and managers in years to come. Thank you Henry Harvin and all the course creators out there, for designing this course wonderfully to bring out the confidence in the students<\/span><\/p>\n
