DMAIC Process Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This process consists of 5 phases:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Define<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    This phrase summarizes the project plan. It focuses on identifying the scope of the project, its goals, benefits, problems and determining the customers and their requirements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Measure<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The phase collects relevant project data and identifies the parameters that have to be quantified and they measure them using different techniques such as Defects Per Million Opportunities (DPMO) and Process Sigma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
